He told how the awards ceremony was a 'blur'
A. Scot has been crowned "Barber of the Year" at a prestigious SHABAS awards ceremony.
Cammy Morrison, 24, cut his teeth at Mr Dun on Aberdeen's Belmont Street while studying at university.
Since leaving school in Bucksburn, Cammy's career has gone from strength to strength after realising an office job "wasn't for him".
The stylist is now an award-winning master barber, having scooped a gong at the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards.
The SHABA's are the country's largest and most successful industry- endorsed awards.
The competition attracts hundreds of entries from salons and individuals across Scotland.
Cammy said the September 1 ceremony is a "blur" and, despite working at the highest level, had low expectations when he submitted pictures showcasing his talent.
He told The Press and Journal: "I made sure to ask all my clients to take the 30 seconds that it took to vote for me.
"I’m just so grateful to them that enough of them did.
"I wasn’t expecting anything on the night, but I thought at least we would get a fun night out of it.
